Level Cap Increase

We’re raising the level cap from 50 to 87. This expansion means more XP to earn, new milestones to hit, and a whole new endgame for the community.

Say Hello to Level 87After more than five years, Rec Room’s level cap is getting the biggest upgrade in its history. For years - Level 50 has represented dedication, community spirit, and countless hours spent adventuring, competing, and creating with friends. But players have been asking for more progression - and today we’re answering that call. We’re raising the level cap from 50 to 87. This expansion means more XP to earn, new milestones to hit, and a whole new endgame for the community.

OG Status, SecuredTo honor players who reached the top under the previous cap, anyone who hit level 50 before the cap increased will receive an exclusive OG Level 50 badge. And for those who are nearly there, we’re offering a five-day grace period for players to finish their Level 50 journey before we send out these exclusive badges.

How Leveling Will Work Going Forward

• If you’re already level 50, you’ll immediately begin progressing toward level 51 via your daily XP. 
   
• If you’re below level 50, keep climbing all the way to the new top level: 87.

A Race To The TopTo celebrate the start of this new era, we’re creating an exclusive item set for any player who reaches level 87 within the first 50 days. That's intentionally not going to be an easy feat - but to give everybody a jump-start - we’re increasing the daily XP cap during our first Level Up Week: December 22 through December 29th. We’re really excited about the possibilities this opens up, and grateful to everyone who’s been with us, asking for more ways to grow and progress in Rec Room.See you at level 87.
